Our new apartment!

I never planned to become a home owner -- it just sort of happened. But it's good to live indoors, and rents are going to keep going up.

Here's two walkthrough videos of our wonderful new space in Chicago. First, right after closing, and next, about a month later after we've gotten some furniture in place.

We've still got some work to do. Since that video we've replaced the bathroom sink, replaced most of the lighting, added more sconce lights to the living room and some other stuff. We've got plenty of more stuff to do, money permitting. We probably will next be replacing the old and beat up window blinds.

Hiya there. I am probably not your usual blog reader. My website has some problem and I am not a techy so in my stretch to finding out what happened I found you. You did a nice job of your new place. Congratulations on your new home. You seem proud and happy and that is great. I live in Vancouver Canada and also in Costa del Sol Spain. Vancouver is very expensive but Spain not so much. I expect Chicago is expensive so good job to get in before they get to the point of ridiculous like Vancouver is now.
And I should say thank you for your efforts on the email information.
